*Please Read - It's a shared bed situation, as such I do NOT host women!* Hello! I'm a young adventurer and I've just recently moved to Vancouver, Canada from London UK! I love learning about other people's stories and making friends all over the world. I love learning about different cultures and languages, especially Spanish as I'd love to become fluent. My parents are from England and Barbados, so I already have two cultures! And I've lived in El Salvador and Barcelona, now Canada! I have a very different outlook on life to most people I know. I'm not motivated by money or material possessions. For me, life is about experiences, and learning. I'm always open to new ideas, concepts, ideologies and points of view. I don't believe in spending my youth working every day. There's plenty of time to be bored when I'm dead! If it's an issue for anyone, I'm gay. I prefer to only host other gay men as a matter of comfort in my home, but I can be persuaded to host a straight guy if I'm in a good mood lol. I also don't think it's a terrible thing to hook up with guests/hosts lol, realistically it's always a possibility if there's mutual attraction/consent and you're sharing a bed.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I love the idea of staying with locals and having a native experience everywhere I go. I think you can get priceless experiences this way, seeing and learning things that the regular tourist wouldn't. I love the fact that I have friends all over the world. I enjoy staying in hostels too, as these are great places to meet new people from all over the world. But to have a truly immersive experience, I think CouchSurfing is the only way (apart from living in the country)

I spent three months volunteering in a rural village in El Salvador, teaching about the importance of environmental awareness and protection. I met some amazing people, got a tropical parasite, and had the most amazing experience of my life so far. I just wish I had appreciated it more whilst I was there.

I can teach English, I'm a qualified ESL teacher. I'm also quite a good cook, but I think I just make it up as I go along. I want to become fluent in Spanish and then start on another language. My aim is really to travel the world and learn how to make myself a better person and find inner happiness. I would really like to learn an instrument also. I want to share my story and learn yours!

I love meeting new people and making friends all over the world. My aim is to have a friend on every continent! I enjoy just listening to people talk about their lives and experiences. Everyone has something new to teach you, and I want to learn it all. I love learning languages, I can say a couple of phrases in a lot of tongues, but I would like to learn Japanese, and become fluent in Spanish. I'm a journalist by profession, and a comedian/performer at heart. I love to sing and act. I've done some stand up and drag performances in the past, but I'd love to sing on stage once in my life. I love beaches, long walks if it isn't too hot! Reading, music and socialising! I don't smoke or drink alcohol, some people think that's weird, but I don't know why. Also, I'm a big Pokémon geek.
