Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have both hosted and surfed in the past but currently am doing neither. (I'm not hosting at the moment due to a very small apartment.) I am happy to meet up with people and look forward to trading couches in the near future. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE CouchSurfing has been amazing for me - I've used it in many places in the US, Europe, and South America. I hosted people when I lived in Germany and New York. The best thing is come to a town you've never been to before and suddenly have a group of friends. For me traveling is about people before anything else. Visiting the local church or museum can be fun - but that's not what travel is about. Traveling is about meeting people, hearing their stories, see how they live, and making friends. The best experience I had CouchSurfing was in New Orleans. Upon arriving my hosts declared that we were going for a bike ride - found some old bikes behind the house and opened a bottle of wine. We sailed through the empty streets in the late summer passing the bottle between us as we rode.

Mis intereses
Computer programming and websites are my chosen topic to nerd out on. It's a passion and obsession of mine for decades now. With someone who has interesting ideas in this area, I can discuss all night. I'm deeply opinionated on the subject. Recently I started paying attention to economics - which interests me, but I don't know much about it. I'm interested in minimal living. I have an ideal for myself to live in a small blank room, with only a suitcase of possessions. I worry about taking care of belongings and I try to avoid attaining too much stuff - but lately I haven't been very resolve at this. I am mostly vegetarian. I'm relatively cheap - I don't buy organic food. I used to be interested in math. I wish I was interested in cooking. Politics is also always fun to discuss.
