I'm not a typical German. Neither do I look like one, nor do I behave like one. I am not into sausages, sauerkraut or potatoes. What is really good about this country however is its great beer. Fortunately I got and get the chance to travel quite a bit and it became an addiction of mine. After backpacking Pakistan, having loads of tea in Iran, visiting Kim's bizarre North Korea, trekking the Himalayas, surviving a civil war in Cameroon and camping with bears in Alaska, I am searching for more challenges. This is why one of my next trips is definitely going to be a hiking tour to North Pole.

I got to live with an awesome dude in Venezuela for 3 months - kudos to you, Gustavo! For now I haven't done much more than surfing and hosting, but I do plan on becoming more active with the whole CS community! After several years abroad, I am now back to Germany - and finally moved to the center of Stuttgart into a lovely apartment with a great winter garden. I have a queensized bed plus a kingsize couch - so I am sure we will find space for you and your bags. Next to my house is one of the greatest parks in the Stuttgart area which is always a good choice for a morning run. S-Bahn and subway are just around the corner - getting to me is easy like a Sunday morning!
Música, películas y libros
I am addicted to reading: whenever I enter a book store, I will not leave it without at least 4 or 5 new books. However, for some strange reason I tend to forget what a book was about shortly after finishing reading it. What I am sure of is that I am not into science fiction-ish things at all. I love T.C. Boyle, Salinger, Frisch. Some of my favorite movies are certainly Into The Wild, Premonition, Seven Pounds and A Walk To Remember.
Una cosa increíble que he hecho
- Underground parties in Afghanistan - Discovering German products in the hotel mini-market in North Korea - Hiking for 8 days straight in Torres del Paine and eating nothing more than powdered food - Easter Island and Machu Picchu - Great Wall and Taj Mahal - 3 months socialism in Caracas, Venezuela - Gazing at the Himalayas - Leaving Pakistan without having been kidnapped - Eating pickled watermelon in Romania - Impressive high-heels at Universidad de Monterrey - Surviving Finland's winter of 4 hours daylight - Getting kicked out at 2am in Oslo by a "friend" of mine and picked up by his friend - just the sheer kindness of a stranger blew me away - Getting ripped off by official Aeroflot Staff at Indira Delhi International Airport - never thought this was possible by any Chance - Learning how to roll the Spanish "rrrrrrrrrrr" after I had already given up on it. My pronounciation is still not perfect though. - My entire life. I feel quite lucky the way it goes.

I am pretty talented when it comes to Powerpoint - a reminder of my past in consulting. I would also say that I am a rather creative person, which can result in crazy ideas, nicely decorated food for that one Insta pic or a once-in-a-million birthday gift. Other than that I don't have any expert skills - but I am pretty much a bit of everything, so I am sure you won't be bored when staying with me :)
Lo que puedo ofrecer a los hosts
Recently, I have been receiving quite a decent number of copyandpaste requests of black sheeps that are more into free accomodation than meeting people and sharing culture. Therefore, when you plan on crushing my couch, in order for me to figure out whether you actually read my profile or not, make sure you include a statement about your favorite icecream in your mail. If not, I might turn mad and decline your request :)
