I grew up in San Francisco, went to Cal, had fun doing the dotcom thing (still having fun with it, actually), and just moved home after living in London for the past 2 years. I've also lived in Italy, France & Costa Rica. While part of my life revolves around the business world, I feel equally happy camping under the stars and backpacking across new places.
