I am a Mechanical Engineer for the Oil and Gas industry. Originally from Indiana but an currently living in SE Texas. I play soccer and sand volleyball. I enjoy watching basketball and american football. My favorite teams are the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts. Also back home my hobbies also include camping, fishing, and brewing beer. I have also recently gotten into entrepreneurship and would like to oneday open a brewery. I am always down for anything.

I am on Couchsurfing because some of the most memorable travel experiences have come when I have met locals and experienced the city with them or from their recommendations.

My favorite thing that I have done was a 1 week service trip to Jamaica where we built a school. It was a very eye opening experience to see the differences between wants and needs in the United States and Jamaica. Also, interacting with the locals was a fun experience.

I can teach hosts about United States culture. I have visited many different parts and lived in both the Midwest and Texas. I want to learn all I can in the short time I will have in each city.

I am literally up for any new experience. I love to have conversations with new people to learn new perspectives on life. I love the outdoors. Trying new food, learning about new cultures, and am always down for a good beer. Also I enjoy cooking... but I am not the best.
