I'm an English teacher living and working in Phoenix, Arizona. I love the desert but I also enjoy leaving during the fall, winter and summer breaks, even if being a teacher means I need to budget. People say I am respectful and hospitable, and I sure hope they’re correct! I enjoy specialty coffee and will make a point to visit at least two coffee shops everywhere I visit. Community and hospitality are two things I place a high value on. I see couchsurfing as a way to practice these two things by meeting awesome people and being a courteous guest.
