Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I came across Couchsurfing quite by accident in Singapore when I bumped into a couch surfer host trying to find his couch surfer who'd arranged to stay with him but hadn't turned up! Anyway, we became good friends and I then attended several social couchsurfing events. I still haven't actually couch surfed yet but I have used warm showers (think couch surfing for cyclists) whilst I was recently doing my tour of NZ around the South Island. When I am back in the UK again, I will also be available to potentially host, a first for me!

I recently spent 10weeks cycling around the very mountainous South Island of New Zealand. That's pretty up there in things I've accomplished. It was very hard work at times but very rewarding to get to the top of each mountain pass etc!

Mis intereses
I'm very sporty. I enjoy swimming, both in a pool and any chance I get in open water 😊 I enjoy road cycling and the challenge of club riding; the friendship of that is awesome and also the tactics and high concentration needed keeps me coming back for more! Always keen to take on new challenges when it comes to cycling; most recently a tour around the South Island of NZ. I love the sun and particularly the ocean. I've scuba dived in the past but now tend to snorkel, it's cheaper! Aside from my sporting interests I like reading, watching movies, going to the theatre. I don't drink alcohol, never have, so I'm not a massive pub or bar goer.
