Recently left job in pastry/cakes to travel and do a bit of soul searching. I take very quickly to anything hands-on and crafty, but tend to start too many projects than I can possibly finish (currently itching to start pottery as a hobby). I prefer trains to cars, and walking to trains. I am also a big fan of theme parks.

Música, películas y libros
I like a mix of everything. When I was studying Spanish as a teenager, I got into a lot of Shakira music, so I’d say she is the artist I’m most familiar with. Otherwise I enjoy music from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Caroline Polachek, Rina Sawayama, but can enjoy just about any genre. I don’t watch anywhere near enough films or read enough books. One of my goals recently is to watch the classics that I’ve never bothered sitting down to appreciate…

I started an English conversation club with a friend whilst living in the north of Japan. I helped members of the local community practice English in a casual and friendly environment. Unfortunately, Covid meant we had to cancel the event after just one year :-(

I speak pretty good Japanese and Spanish, and was an English teacher/tutor for 5 years. Also a proficient baker 🧑🏼🍳
