I travel a lot and it's always fun to meet new people

Food: Sushi, Mexican, Thai. Books: I love Dostoevsky and Junger. Historical fiction set in Ancient Greece/Rome is also always entertaining. Music: I have a very "basic" taste in music. I can listen to and enjoy pretty much anything. Alas, never that guy who's discovering new groups before they get big. Movies: Like most guys, I have a special affinity for Braveheart and Gladiator. However, my favorite film is probably The Thin Red Line. The director, Terrence Mallick, studied philosophy at Harvard and Oxford and taught at MIT before switching to film making. Really interesting and powerful film.
