I had not given couch surfing much thought till now. I recently went to mexico and ended up staying at a house belonging to one of the relative of my Mexican friend who i met in USA. It's fair to say that i had an authentic experiences and saw the city i was in from the point of view of a local which piqued my interest in creating a couch surfing profile.
