I'm a work anywhere wellness business owner (with many part-time and full-time positions needing to be filled as we expand globally), magazine publisher, author, speaker, travel writer, English teacher (TESL), permaculture advocate. WLU.AU/DENIS Like most couch surfers I am interested in meeting and making friends in different countries, experiencing new cultures, traveling to see Earth's beauty. FITNESS • WELLNESS I like exercising: jogging, swimming, body surfing, "gyming", meditating, yoga, massage and dancing when traveling including organised events like fun runs in nature, triathlons or 5km, 10km to half marathons. I work in health and wellness so I like meeting and interviewing athletes, sport coaches, naturopaths, traditional medicine practitioners and doctors to talk and learn more as well as share my own experiences. I enjoy speaking to / talking with health & wellness groups & University academics and students. TEACHING ENGLISH Often I prefer to stay in one city a few months, to work as an English language teacher and make it a base from which to explore the surrounding towns, cities, nature and national parks. Places I want to teach in are Chinese speaking (so I can learn to speak CN better) & Europe (especially French speaking countries). I sometimes travel with an academic PhD (anthropology) friend who is also a highly experienced TESOL teacher of academic and business English. TRAVEL STORIES I'm also a travel writer so I like to interview travellers for a health and lifestyle magazine & YouTube channel called Whole Life Times. GARDENING, PERMACULTURE & ECOVILLAGES My hobby at home is organic gardening. It's always been a bit of a worry to travel and leave it untendered so I like to set up house swaps whenever possible ideally in a place where I can teach English and ideally do gardening and go to a gym. EcoVillages are a long held interest so I love visiting and learning about them, interviewing members and publishing articles on ecovillages and permaculture in WholeLifeTimes.org or books on them.
