Please note that I am only interested in building connections/friendships with women only. Thank you! Hi there! My name is Eden. I was born and raised in the SF Bay, and I've lived in San Jose, Oakland, Berkeley, Hayward, and now Sunnyvale. I'm totally new to couchsurfing and am really excited about the opportunity to foster connections w/new people in an authentic way! I love being outdoors, camping, kayaking, and running. Other things I dig: introspection, traveling, photography, farm-to-table, minimalism, sustainability, personal growth (physical, mental, and spiritual), community, BLM, social justice, socio-emotional learning, and reading. I don't drink or smoke, in case that's important. My Myers Briggs type is INFJ, if you're into that kind of stuff! And my ig is @eden.marva if you'd like to get a better sense of who I am as a person.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I hope to meet some interesting folks to share stories, learn and grow from each other. I'm a talkative introvert and I'm essentially an open book. I love the spontaneous moments of genuine human connection that can happen between strangers. I strive to be open-minded and nonjudgmental.
Música, películas y libros
Music: Cliché, but pretty much all genres! I can listen to Tool, Rush, Chris Stapleton, Miles Davis, A Tribe Called Quest, Chopin, Bonobo, Black Sabbath and Simply Red in one sitting. Movies: Feel good films (When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride) and dark, cerebral dramas (Pan's Labyrinth, Black Mirror). Books: I read a lot of fantasy (Brandon Sanderson), sci-fi (Iain Banks), historical fiction, and nonfiction.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I'm currently COO of a global nonprofit and have over 10 years of experience in philanthropy and operations (particularly finance, HR, and strategy). I'm happy to be a sounding board for business ideas and strategies!
