I want to learn as much as possible about the countries that I am visiting. This includes but isn't limited to: manners, religion, point of views, the people, their customs, and history. I think that is best accomplished by meeting or staying with locals. Once again it's not about saving money, it's about sharing experience with people's of another culture.
