In December 2014 an Accordion playing friend and I hitchhiked from Goteborg, Sweden to Trondheim, Norway and back again just rely on couchsurfing, long johns and the money we got from performing in the streets. We tried it again a year later and ended up living on a boat, busking and eating steak for a week - so not so bad
