Short & sweet answer--I am craving movement and exploration! I am excited to make more connections with new friends and new places. I'm also open to the idea of moving somewhere new so I'm hoping to utilize couchsurfing as a way to explore my options = D Extended response: I've spent the last year & a half or so feeling somewhat stagnant & not my self (it has been quite the time of self-reflection). I realized that I was ready to make some big changes in my life. Now, I'm taking a dive into a different way of living, one that includes more travel & active participation--more deliberate intention & creation. I'm super excited & ready to soak up this expanded, powerful version of my self.

Oh geez, I have a lot of favorites! I generally feel drawn to folk music, rock, oldies, blues, jazz, Indie/Indie pop, classical, new-age music, celtic, world music, soul music. Movies: I haven't been watching much tv/movies so that's a harder one to list but I do enjoy them when the timing feels right (I'm also pretty picky---none of that mindless, numbing crap pleaseee). I like movies with well thought out/well developed characters that you go on a journey with. I can get down with adventure, action, western, documentary, science fiction, comedy, fantasy, romantic, historical/period drama, or Indie films. My mom loves Turner Classic movies and I've actually grown to appreciate those a lot as well. Books---(some of my recent favorites) The Alchemist, The Four Agreements, 2150 A.D.. I've mostly been reading non-fiction but recently I have been intrigued to dive back into the world of fiction. Some books on my list to read : Woman Who Run With The Wolves, Omnivore's Dilemma.
