I am currently in Italy escaping a life which did not allow enough time for being with people. In Belfast I loved having people to stay when I could plan to be home, which was not often! Documentary filmmaking usually delivers a last minute, all absorbing timetable! Those people were not always couch surfers but just friends or people I have met when traveling. Willingness to trust in the unknown makes life vital.
