"There was once a man who became unstuck in the world. He took the wind for a map. He took the sky for a clock, and set off with no destination. He was never lost."

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
***Friend requests- I only add people I've met in person. If you are using this site as a hookup/dating tool... that's not what CS is for lol. I am not interested, so please skip me, thanks! I've enjoyed traveling backpacker-style staying in hostels, because you meet other travelers and like-minded people, exchange stories and information, and get turned onto activities and places that you can't find in guidebooks- which usually end up being my favorite parts of the trip. I feel like couchsurfing is a similar experience, except a little more personal because it is one-on-one and someone is welcoming you into their home. I don't really like touristy things and crowded places. I prefer to hang out with locals and do what the locals do, and see and experience the "real version" of the place I am visiting, not the postcard version. I want to see new places, meet new people, try new foods, and immerse myself in other cultures… in order to grow as a person. There is no better education than traveling and seeing the world through new eyes.
