CURRENT MISSION To be kind and compassionate and content with what we have. ABOUT ME We (Carlo and Carrie) live and love in the Kootenays region of British Columbia. We love being outside - hiking, rock climbing, biking, paddling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing - and the wildness of the area is THE place to do it all! Music is a big part of our lives - Carlo plays guitar, bass, and mandolin in a couple of groups that perform locally. Carrie loves to paint and dance. We both also love to read (neither of us has had a tv for several years), do yoga, and play games. We're non-drinkers / non-smokers. PHILOSOPHY Question everything. Keep an open mind. Live organically...I don't mean eat organically (although I try to as much as I can). I mean accept change, because it's inevitable, and learn to flow with it instead of fighting it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Carlo has had several years of CS experience, being a guest all over the world and hosting while living in Australia and Canada. Carrie is new to CS but has loved her first experiences with it. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Have couch surfed all over the place including Russia, New York, Halifax, Toronto, and Montreal. Hosted for two years while living in Melbourne, Australia. I've also attended many CS events. Every single experience has been fantastic, I love the community and I spread the good word about it!
