I think its a great platform, also from a communitarian democratic perspective, to connect people from all over the world. I appreciate the trust, kindness and hospitality that people give to each other and which is so often lacking in our society nowadays. Personally, it made every visit more personal and genuinely unique . The great experiences I had as a guest really motivate me to be more involved as a host as well.
