COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Till now, they are great! They really really are! On a sappy note: Thanks to all the people I've met through CS since my first event, this unforgettable late summer night in Montreal with 7 people age 18 to 63 from 6 continents. ❤️

Music: Non-vocal electronic music or awesome guitar solos. My favorite books are written by a wonderful human being called Dushka Zapata. Also enjoyed Hans Rosling and Terry Pratchett's Death Series.

I spent the last night of 2018 in the Saharan Desert. Watching the most amazing sky, seeing the milky way clearly above me. Saw wild orangutans in Sumatra and snorkeled with huge turtles in the waters around Borneo.

Some fun stories about intercultural misunderstanding, crazy travel episodes and growing up on a farm in rural northwest Germany.
