Name is Marcus! I've travelled Europe and met a wealth of wonderful people. I'm continuing to do this here in England too. I've only met courteous and fantastic people so far on the app, travelling folk really are an open, honest, friendly and fun sort! I'm located in a town called AYLESBURY in the United Kingdom in the county of Buckinghamshire (Bucks - for short). The southern airports are about 40mins to an hour or so away from me by car or bus; Heathrow or London Luton being the closest. Bucks is a decently nice part of southern Britain, it's about 1hour 20 minutes to London by Train from where I live and it'll cost about £33 to go via train or half a tank of fuel + parking cost. Nearer me is OXFORD! Only 30-40mins away by bus and (at the moment) only £2 to get there!! Oxford is a renowned and beautiful city with great architecture, decent shopping and plenty to do. 200% an amazing spot for tourists and if you want to see something beautiful in England. In general there is quite a lot to do in my area if you go looking, some things are nice and free too! In the Bucks area alone you could probably be entertained for a good week or so, but you would have to travel the bus's or trains a lot to see more; ATM it's only £3.50 to go there and back on a single route which is pretty good - I can help you figure out your routes as it's £3:50 end to end on each route, it doesn't cap at that price. If I'm about I'm happy to help and explore with you too if you like. I can never be sure when I am free as my Rota always changes. I can also advise on what is good in the area or where I would personally avoid. What I will say is England, as you likely know, is very very bad at knowing other languages (myself included, I can only really speak English). If you want to explore the unique more rural areas you're going to have to know some basic phrases; at least how to order something, for directions or to say "can you help" and then point 👉. The transport is also not frequent/not too reliable in the south compared to say UK large cities like Birmingham, Manchester or London, so plan journeys using Google maps or by knowing local bus routes. Do not fret! It's all manageable and you can have a good time in the area! I can only really put up one person at a time and I would like good notice (at least 3-4 days) in order to get my flat ready. See the Home section for more details. Happy travels :)
