Hey, I’m M’hamed — a photographer and filmmaker living between the ocean and the desert in Dakhla. For the past five years, I’ve been chasing light, moments, and stories that speak without words. I believe in connection through art, in sharing smiles with strangers, and in learning from every soul I meet along the way. My journey is about discovering the world — and letting the world discover me. If you ever find yourself in Dakhla, let’s share a sunset, a story, or a cup of tea by the sea. No plans, just vibes, good energy, and the beauty of being present.

Una cosa increíble que he hecho
There was a time when I lost my mother — and with her, I lost the meaning of home. Everything around me felt empty, so I decided to follow the wind. With nothing but a one-way ticket, a small camera, and 70 dirhams in my pocket, I flew to Dakhla, chasing a new beginning. Life wasn’t easy at first. The desert can test you, strip you, and rebuild you. But slowly, I found light again — in the waves, in the sunsets, in the faces of people who believed in me. From those humble days, I built my path as a photographer and filmmaker, telling stories shaped by sand, salt, and soul. Today, I’ve had the honor to collaborate with amazing brands like Transavia, Redbull, and Pro Kitesurf athletes who carry the same love for the wind and freedom that brought me here. Dakhla became more than a place — it became my rebirth, the canvas where I painted a new life. 🌾📸

Lo que puedo ofrecer a los hosts
I’d love to share with Couchsurfers from around the world the beauty of Moroccan culture — its flavors, its warmth, and its soul. From traditional dishes to hidden places here in Dakhla, I enjoy showing the side of Morocco that few people get to see. Most of all, I love telling stories about my people, a nation with a deep heart and a culture rich in history, music, and hospitality. 🌿🍵✨
