I typically stay at hostels when I travel. You meet lots of your fellow travelers that way. I want to start meeting locals and see how they live. Couchsurfing seems like a good way to do that.

I listen to a random assortment of songs. I like most things but am not a fan of stadium country or farm emo. Right now Mo Lowda is my favorite band: check them out :)
