Originally from Spain but currently living in Sweden for already some years. First time I came to Sweden was as an Erasmus student in Gävle and since then I'm in love with this country. Therefore after finishing my Bachelor I came back to live the "Swedish dream" :) As a way of living I work as a PhD student between Umeå and Göteborg, which gives me opportunity to travel from time to time to the Swedish Lapland! Actually is not just a way of living, I do love science! So at some point I might be a bit nerdy... About myself, I would say I'm a very easy going person who enjoys spending time with people from all over the world, listening to their stories, learning from them and making me daydreaming of amazing places to further visit.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I've recently met several couchsurfers that visit Göteborg and heard their amazing stories from travelling here and there, meeting all kind of people and "collecting" unforgettable stories, so I finally took the plunge! Now it's time for me to start doing it!
Música, películas y libros
Music: a bit of everything, depending on the day, depending on the mood. It can go from some American doo-wop (like The Edsels and their Rama Lama Ding Dong), to some rock (Guns n Roses, AC/DC, Nirvana..), folk music (specially from the Nordic countries), American pop-rock, salsa, bachata... Movies: specially philosophical/mind blowing movies such as Inception, Memento, Black Swan, The Truman Show... But also movies like everything from The Lord of the Rings or Star Wars!! Books: I enjoy reading from authors like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Pablo Neruda, Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Dan Brown, Ken Follet, Tolkien, Doltoyevski, Edgar Allan Poe, Astrid Lindgren, Alexander Pushkin... and whatever else with a nice recommendation behind!
Una cosa increíble que he hecho
The most amazing place I've seen is Lofoten Islands, north Norway, in late June. One week of unforgettable hiking, meeting amazing locals telling you about their lives during the 6 months winter night, wandering aimlessly from one island to another under the midnight sun. This reminds me of a nice quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: "The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience" :)

Travelling and meeting new people, new cultures, food (more eating than cooking, however cooking with someone can be very nice also), nature... Too many! :P
