Country music. 80's rock, Hip/hop, R&B, Classical, Jazz...pretty much everything but Gangsta Rap, and even some of that is tight. Books on mafia dudes, history, and serial killers are also super interesting. Aristotle, Aquinas, Locke, Nietzsche, and Russell are always good for sharpening up the wits a bit.
