Every time I go on a solo trip, it turns into something amazing. Traveling alone pushes me to meet new people, experience local cultures more deeply, and truly live in the moment. But trekking in the mountains of Kashmir was truly unforgettable. Being alone with nature in such a breathtaking place was both peaceful and powerful. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, pine forests, and that magical silence, one line of Amir Khusrau’s kept coming to my mind again and again on every turn in the valleys “Gar firdaus ruhe zameen ast, hami asto, hami asto, hami ast.” (“If there is paradise on Earth, it is this, it is this, it is this.”) That moment made me feel deeply connected to the beauty of our world—something I’ll never forget.
