After 6 years I got a little fed up with the city and joined some friends in Barcelona, it all started with kindness and hospitality of strangers and since then whenever I have the time I feel the urge to move, I simply can not sit around and need to be on the road as much as possible. I AM NOT HOSTING RIGHT NOW: I have had no particular bad experiences hosting, maybe just a few strange ones so that´s not the reason I stopped accepting people. I quit because overtourism exists and Barcelona is one of the cities badly affected. While Couchsurfing offers an alternative I´m more than happy to offer I need time to reflect at this point about how to deal with the current situation. The city is overrun.
