Travelled to a rural area in Beijing on my own, with limited Chinese and 150yuan on me as my asset. On that trip I tried out my luck crashing overnight in a random inn and ended up forming dear friendship with the inn owner and his family!

I have had considerable experiences leading community projects for national and international social organizations, especially those related to education and youth empowerment. I have a bigger, lifelong interest in social enterprises, or any type of business with impact that seek to create social values beyond the profit bottom line. My dream is to set up a social enterprise of my own. My vision is to find my voice and help others find theirs. I am an eager traveling spirits and a strong advocate of traveling on one's own! I also love listening to and reflecting on other people's stories, and I am super excited about ideas or organizations that adopt a human-centered approach in their action. Other things that will make my eyes light up include a book, a coffee chat with friends or some solitude moments just taking a deep breath or sketching/ writing to connect with my inner voice.
