Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
Not all travelers are brave enough to venture off the beaten path and try something new. This is one of the things I love about Couchsurfing: its community of open-minded people who just "get" what life's all about. After joining the Couchsurfing community over 10 years ago, it is now funny for me to picture how different my life would have been without it. Apart from meeting people from all over the world as a surfer, I've also had the wonderful opportunity of giving back to some amazing people as a host. Some of my most cherished friendships have even come as a result of CS.

I truly believe in the power of a good story, even though stories can be used as much for the better as for the worst. According to Edward Miller and Paulo Coelho stories are "our primary tools of learning and teaching... They bring order into our confusing world," and "bridge the gaps where everything else has crumbled." Yet, as Chimamanda Adichie's warns us in her cautionary speech, it is also important to be wary of the dangers of "the single story". https://www.ted.com/talks/chimamanda_adichie_the_danger_of_a_single_story
