My friends call me Wojtek, because "Wojciech" is too official and hard to pronounce for the foreigners. Travel became the passion of my whole life. I travel with a backpack, because it is last expensive way. Usually I am forced to travel alone, but I like it. Traveling during last 50 years I managed to visit already more then 230 countries and territories on seven continents, including all officially recognized states of the world. I realized thirteen (yes - 13!) solo round-the-world voyages - each one via another route. I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, I did Everest Trek in Himalaya, I was sailing sailing biggest rivers - Amazon, Congo, Nile, Lena, Yenissey, Ob + Irtysh. I am writing articles for the press on visited countries ; how to travel on a cheap and in an interesting way. I also published a book (in Polish) about my travels: http://www.kontynenty.net/zamawiam.php You will find much more on my private website: www.kontynenty.net

Una cosa increíble que he hecho
My trans-African solo voyage from Ceuta to the Cape of the Good Hope with only one air segment over the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo). It took me four months to cover this route using just local transport.
