When it comes to music, I enjoy exploring different styles and genres. What I listen to really depends on my mood. I appreciate the uplifting, spiritual music of Petar Danov, especially the pieces featuring violin. I also like artists such as Iniko and Manu Chao. For Bulgarian music, I tend to prefer the alternative scene, with bands like Taraleshta (Таралеща) being among my favorites. As for books, I used to read much more before university. Once I started my studies, I had to focus on reading research papers and when started working I was writing projects, so I had less time for other types of reading. Generally, I enjoy fables and similar stories—those that are like fairy tales but teach valuable life lessons. When it comes to movies, I really enjoy the ones of Aamir Khan’s films, such as 3 Idiots, Dangal, and PK. Recently I also started watching a lot of Korean (like "Miss day and night") and Chinese series (historical dramas but not only). Forrest Gump is one of my all-time favorites—I’ve watched it more than 100 times! Cloud Atlas is another film from which I learned important life lessons, and Miracles from Heaven was so moving that it made me cry a lot. The only movies I tend to avoid are horror films, and the only music genre I don’t really listen to is heavy metal.
