Bring trash bags. 3) Check for ticks! Avoid Lyme Disease! --- This is a 2-night camping trip on fellow CSer Bob's private 90-acre tree farm in Orient, NY by the beach! The rest of the message has a more detailed description of the event and notes! ------------------------------------- A) -------MUST READ!------- ------------------------------------- ~The event goes from Friday, Sep 18 @ 5:00 PM - Sunday, Sep 20 @ noon. All are welcome, and the space can accommodate hundreds of people. But if at any point Dave or Bob feel the event is at capacity (300+ ppl), then we will abide by their wish to close entry. A post will be made on this Facebook page and the CS event if need be. ~Do not eat the food that is growing on Bob’s farm. ~Do not go near the house or barn on Bob’s property. ~Do not start a fire without permission from Dave (the liaison between Bob and the event organizers). ~Public transit is available (see "How to get there" in the Google doc). There is also free parking for those of you driving/ride sharing. For the past three years Couchsurfers from NYC, neighboring cities DC, Philly, Boston, whomever else wants to come, and few visiting surfers from around the world have joined and camped out on Bob's magnificent and beautiful 90-acre tree farm. This is a laid back, hippie, free spirited, amazing vibes weekend where we eat, drink, partied, swim, skinny dip and do anything safe that connects you not just to your fellow man but nature. We ask that you come with an open heart to share (food/alcohol/ and other goods/activities, you know like a festival) I trust we all know that this doesn’t mean you aren’t going to bring anything to support and just munch on others'! Sharing, talking, and spreading good vibes is what this event is for me, and this summer I want to make it even greater than before. We are working to have a weekend full of fun and diverse activities depending on how many of you contribute and want to actually participate.
