🔥🚗 CouchCrash Tunisia Road Trip – Desert Edition 🏜️ November 23rd – 29th, 2026 Imagine arriving in Tunisia… Not to visit a city, but to begin a journey. On November 23rd, 2026, it won’t just be another travel day. It will be the moment we gather — strangers from different countries, cultures, and languages — connected by one simple thing: The love of discovery. At first, it will be just new faces, light handshakes, small conversations… But a few hours into the road, those faces will turn into road companions, then into friends, and eventually into memories you’ll never forget. This is not a CouchCrash in one city. This is the first Couchsurfing Road Trip CouchCrash of its kind in Tunisia. Five nights… Six days… Leaving from Tunis, Heading south through cities and landscapes that change every hour, Stopping for local food in places that don’t exist on Google Maps, Playing music in the car, Laughing at random gas station moments, Discovering villages we can barely pronounce… Until suddenly, we find ourselves in front of the silence of the desert. There — where nothing surrounds you but sand and stars — you’ll realize that this trip was never just about the places… but about the people who were with you along the way. And on the road back to Tunis, we won’t be the same people who left on day one. 🚗 We will travel in small groups using shared rental cars because the best Couchsurfing stories are always born on the road. ✈️ Arriving early? We’ve got a Pre-CouchCrash Weekend on November 21st & 22nd to meet each other, organize car groups, and spend time together in Tunis before the adventure begins. The main outline of the program is ready, and the full detailed itinerary will be published soon by Jamil. If you feel like this is a story you want to be part of… Stay tuned for updates. Because by the end of November, you might just be one of its main characters ❤️ Let’s hit the road. 🚗✨ ⚠️ Important Update Registrations are temporarily closed while we complete some necessary administrative procedures and finalize the required security authorization for the event. We are currently working closely with the relevant authorities to resolve everything as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will share updates very soon. Thank you for your support ❤️

📢 South Trip – November Update | CouchCrash Tunis
First of all, I’d like to apologize for the delay in sharing updates about our November South Trip.
There are a few reasons behind it. The recent app update changed many things, and unfortunately, a number of members also left the platform. On top of that, I had some personal commitments that required my attention.
Most importantly, I want to be transparent with everyone. Over the past weeks, we faced several challenges, especially regarding security permits and administrative approvals. The process was much more complicated than expected. However, I'm happy to say that we have now completed around 90% of these procedures, and we've managed to find solutions to move forward.
At this stage, there will only be one small change to the original itinerary: unfortunately, we will have to remove Sbeitla from the route due to security requirements.
In the coming days, we will publish the official trip program along with the registration form.
Due to the initial approval we received, participation will be limited to 40 participants. We are still working with the relevant authorities to see if we can increase this number, and we will keep you updated if that becomes possible.
Finally, I want to reassure everyone that all these procedures and delays are not obstacles—they reflect the authorities' commitment to ensuring that this event is safe, well organized, and a truly unique experience for everyone.
Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We can't wait to share this adventure with you! ❤️
