Your organizers have worked hard to make this the most rad event yet. Details will continue to evolve and develop so stay tuned! Now, imagine a warm, cozy cabin with 29 other amazing people for a weekend of awesomeness. Also food. And drink. And hot tub. And you! Cost this year is $60-70/person (includes food , beverages, and cabin space/bed). We have an awesome cabin booked just on the outskirts of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We are now at capacity and registration is currently closed. Get pumped! We cannot wait to spend a fantastic weekend with each and everyone of you! ******************* A Welcome document is now available with cabin details. A general schedule for the weekend is also now available. Carpooling is strongly encouraged to this event as there is very limited parking on site. There are sign up sheets for carpooling, ICE contacts, cabin check-out cleaning tasks, as well as a list of suggested items to pack. Please PM one of your organizers for the links to these documents or locate them on the FB "COZY CRASH-INFO" group chat. If you have registered for the event and are not part of this group chat, please contact an organizer to be added. ******************* The event is capped at 30 people - the reason that it reads a limit of 50 on here is so those of you who like to watch can do so. You know who you are. Ha! If you are thinking of inviting anyone to this event, first reach out to Jonathan and to confirm availability. Also, be sure they have a CS profile set up, are properly introduced to the CouchSurfing spirit of hospitality and consideration of others, and RSVP to the event personally. Please do not join/invite anyone if the intent is to hook-up and be irresponsible. We are always happy when members of the community really connect and get together, but especially considering the more intimate setting of this event with everyone hanging out and sleeping in close quarters, it is important that all who come feel safe and comfortable. We are all going to be there to have fun, meet others, and make memories, but we are not there to make anyone feel uneasy or pressured for anything. If you see any of this behavior, say something/have a discussion about how you feel, and talk to your organizers.
