🚲 Critical Mass Berlin – Ride, Roll, and Revel! 🚲 Join us for one of Berlin’s most unique and energizing grassroots events: Critical Mass! What started as a small cycling demonstration has grown into a massive, celebratory ride through the city. Every last Friday of the month, hundreds (sometimes thousands) of riders take over the streets in a slow-moving wave of lights, music, and good vibes. Bring your own bike or rent one from any of the city’s bike shares, it’s super easy. Don’t worry if you don’t cycle, we’ve seen people on inline skates, roller skates, tricycles, unicycles, and even cargo bikes with speakers strapped on. The route is spontaneous, usually covering 30 to 35 kilometers at a relaxed pace. Some even describe it as one giant Späti crawl, with riders responsibly enjoying all kinds of beverages along the way. 🕒 Logistics and Meetup Info We’ll meet 30 minutes before wheels up at 8 PM sharp, near the starting point (typically Mariannenplatz), where we can hang out, crack open a few beers, and get to know each other. Once the ride starts, try to stick with a buddy since it’s easy to get separated in the crowd. No stress if we don’t all stay together, the vibe is chill and the experience is always fun. If anyone still has energy after the ride, we can end the night at a Späti and keep the good times rolling. Bring lights, good vibes, and maybe a drink or two.
