The Kilomètre Vertical du Criou is a demanding vertical kilometer race held in Samoëns, France, known as one of the steepest in the world. Participants ascend from the village center at Place du Gros Tilleul to the summit of the Criou, covering approximately 2 kilometers with a 1,000-meter elevation gain in a race against the clock.
