I met a couchsurfer named Liz who's organized the marijuana march in Mobile along with Alabama NORML to raise awareness for the pending leaglization. It's basically a concert, art exhibition, happiness gathering sprinkled with education. Let's meet up! As she puts it: National March for Marijuana. Starting 4:20PM at Public Safety Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama. GOAL: Raise awareness about benefits of medicinal cannabis and chronicle families affected by marijuana laws. Speakers include: Alabama NORML, medical refugee families, Dr. David Allen and the Founder of The National March for Marijuana. Live music and artistic demonstrations will be featured. Voter registration booths, petitions available to sign and voter education provided. Family friendly event.
