Hi everyone, I’m excited to host the 9th year celebration of Thrissur Pooram, one of India’s most vibrant festivals! It’s the perfect chance to experience Kerala’s rich culture, traditions, and festive spirit. 📍 Location: Vadakkunnathan Temple & surrounding grounds 🗓️ One-Day Plan (Sunday) Morning: Explore the festival grounds and soak in the lively atmosphere Afternoon: Enjoy the powerful Chenda Melam inside the temple Evening (4–8 PM): Witness Kudamattam (umbrella exchange ceremony) 🎊 🚆 Travel Plan (from Coimbatore Junction) Alappuzha Express – 8:05 AM (13351) Sabari Superfast Express – 9:15 AM (20629) Return KSR Bangalore Express 16525/ 7pm MGR Chennai Central Mail 12624/8-43pm ⚠️ Essentials Carry umbrella ☔, water 💧, wear comfy clothes & footwear, stay together in crowds 📌 Note Individual expenses Non-commercial event Follows Couchsurfing policy Host: Mithun Shai ❤️
