Urgent help needed: How to get a bus from Phuket to Koh Phangan ASAP?? Websites are just confusing.

So, first Koh pangan is an island, so you will need à bus and a boat. There are 3 different boats, by 3 differents agencies,
slow, fast and very fast
You can book a trip to any reliable agency, most of the time this includes everything,
pickup from your hotel
minivan to surat thani
bus from surat thani to the pier (NOT in town ,and 3 different piers for 3 different boat companies, NOT at the same location)
finally the boat itself
According to the schedules of the boat it is possible that you will have a one-night sleepover in Surat, but no worry the agency manage to drop and pick you up at your hotel the next day if I remember well
You can also do everything by yourself, (you will save more or less 100-200 bahts on the total, but not really sure, you will loose money with the taxi to the pier)
take a minivan/bus from phuket to surat thani
sleep (or not) there
the same/next day, find yourself a way to go to the pier (taxi or local bus)
buy the boat ticket directly at the pier (I know for sure you can buy the ticket at the pier for the fast boat, really not sure for the other companies
If you are a tourist, I strongly advise you to buy a ticket with everything. Be sure to :
go to a reliable agency, I know one in kamala
get al the tickets (minivan, boat, )
double-check the time and dates
check online first for the boat prices, just to be sure that you have a good price
Take a bus from Phuket Town to Donsak(harbour near Surat Thani),there,s ferry there to Samui & Ko Phangan.
You van ask any tour agency around the place you stay for bus and boat ticket "Lom Prayah" to Koh Phangan it will be around 1000 baht
The answer for same question that I cited from my friend :) You can pay online via lomprayah web or challenge a bit with your own "chasing bus" but 2 times cheaper :)
......."As for transfer from Phuket to Koh Phangan: You take a van at "Bo Ko So Mai" (new bus terminal) to Surathani first. You ask the driver to drop you at "Phangan Tour office". There you buy a ticket to Koh Phangan (it will include bus to the pier and ferry to the island) No need to book anything, just make sure you catch the earliest van in the morning to be on time"......
