How is Venezuela right now
Hola chicos! Cómo está?
Im Hayato. From Japan. I’m in Trinidad and will travel Venezuela for 1week as 15th-22th Feb. I wanna know real information that just local people know about recently Venezuela circumstances . Coz everyone say me “very dangerous”. If it’s true, I respect your opinion and cancel to go there right now. Also I learned Spanish in Guatemala for one month. It's ok only Spanish:)
Cheers!

Please cancel your trip. I was a local and have just left Venezuela. Yes, It's a beautiful country, but is not worth the visit right now.
Hello Hayato. I sincerelly would not ever tell you not to go. But it will be irresponsible to not tell you that actually, it could be dangerous. If you are staying with someone local, someone who could lead you through the city or places you're visiting, then I'll tell you to go with them and experience by yourself the venezuelan reality. Right now, is not a nice one, and indeed, there are a lot of venezuelans leaving the country (the ones who can) but because it's been difficult to live. Nevertheless, people still make their livings, there are nice places to visit, and it's possible for you to see it with your own eyes, but I strongly recomend you go with someone local who actually knows the town. Where will you be stayin? what city are you planning to visit? do you know anyone there?
Welcome to Venezuela, if you need more help, write me
Bienvenido!
Hi Hayato, my name is Kevin Sánchez and I'm from Caracas. I'll tell you what the reality is right now if you want to travel here.
First of all, if you want to come, you should take this seriously: Money: now in Venezuela, cash on the streets is hard to find only if you came with $ and can change with some of the ones you trust (it's a very important part) Second: You can travel if you know you have Bs = money from Venezuela, but now with the situation you need to pay for the trip in cash. Three: you can pass as a normal person, you should only take some precautions on your trips (depends on where you go)
I recommend that if you want to go to our land you need to take this recommendation: As Berna Rodríguez said, you need a place to move and take some advantages, for example (you can let you use your debit card and you can buy things or move to the country) Do not speak in public areas in English Do not go outside after 5:00 p.m. (Depends on where you are in Vzla) do not use things with value, etc.
You can ask your specific question and we can answer you.
My friend from Poland came last year and had no problems going to tourist areas (and to the capital of Venezuela, I help him two days.
I can help you with information and announcements, and if you wish travel to Caracas, I can be your guide from February 17 to 18, because I work in a bank and the other day I am busy.
Hola Hayato! Saludos!
Hi, are you here in Vzla? Hope you're doing fine. If your you're in Caracas let me know please! =)
