Apartments in Charlotte

Hi there folks,

Please accept my apology. This is something off topic but I hope you'll indulge me with my inquiries.

I am based in IA and I am thinking of moving to Charlotte next month Are there studio or 1BR apartments in Charlotte or nearby (like 15-mile drive) within the price range of 500-700?

Hi Jun,

There are some newly renovated studio apartments near the plaza midwood area (about 2 miles from uptown) called Aurora Apartments. They are renting for about $700. I enjoyed living there because of the location...close to about everything you need. The only downside were the thin walls from being an older building.

We have a small brick duplex 2 bedroom 1 bath on each side in the Wilmore Neighborhood very close to Dilworth that we lease out for $695 per month. Its close to the Light Rail and within sight of uptown. When it becomes available it rents in literally hours because its so close to uptown, and I think people like a wooded yard. So not sure how good those apartments are that are at only $700 in Plaza Midwood which is also a great neighborhood.

I spent 3 years in property management and am now a Realtor, I suggest you take some of the offers people have mentioned on here.

Also use Craigslist.org to find people looking for roommates, or people renting out a room in their home. It is getting more and more difficult to find a 1 bedroom at a decent price. Rent in some places are over $1300 for a 1 bd or studio! And even if you find a "deal" at a "managed community" I promise you they will raise your rent at LEAST 5% next year! Trust me, I was in the industry and we did it all the time! :(

Finding a shared situation, where you rent . Use Craigslist.org for that.

i ama disable veteran but i travel as a EDM DJ and stage optics engineer (fancy for lighting manager) i am looking to relocate to the south because lets face it, its a heaven due to the culture, people, and food. I rent from Swimmer Insurance agency. It is in a decent neighborhood in town and the rent is $500/month for a one-bedroom. Let me know if I can help you any more.

call them at (704) 333-6694 and just ask if they have any units available for rent. They will know what you are talking about when you call.
