Harghita/Hargita - Covasna/Kovaszna (Szekler land)
The Szekler Land refers to the territories inhabited mainly by the Székely, a Hungarian-speaking ethnic group from eastern Transylvania. They live in the valleys and hills of the Eastern Carpathian Mountains, corresponding to the present-day Harghita, Covasna, and parts of Mureş Counties in Romania. Historically centred in the town of Târgu-Mureş (Marosvásárhely), other important centers of the Szekler Land are Miercurea Ciuc (Csíkszereda), Sfântu Gheorghe (Sepsiszentgyörgy), and Odorheiu Secuiesc (Székelyudvarhely).

Hello everyone! About a month ago we came back home (Agas) from France. All nice and cozy here, but some company would make our stay here a lot better! So we invite all of you city people (but not only) in need for some fresh air and open space to come and visit us! Our house is spacious enough to host at least 7-8 people and we also have some space for tents in the garden. As for the activities that could fill our days, since we are amators of nature walks, we have some nice hikes to propose to you, from the hill behind our house (2hours walk), to a day walk up to a hungarian village hidden in the mountains, walks on the communal pasture where we can find tons of wild strawberries, walks to the sheepfold etc. If you have any kind of pets (dogs especielly) you are more welcome with them than without. :P

I'll be traveling in Szeklely land over the next week. I'd love to know of any good cultural events that this group's members can recommend. (E.g. music performances, art or historical exhibitions).
Also any tips of good sights to see that are not necessarily in the guidebooks - would be very much appreciated. (My main interests are in the history/culture/politics of the region, but am open to some good natural scenery as well).
