3 days in Huntsville- Oct 2-4

Hey! I'm coming down to Huntsville for 3 days to surprise my brother. However, he works evening so I'll have to explore the town solo. I'm wondering: What's the cheapest way to get from the airport into town? What's there to do on a Friday and/or Saturday evening in Huntsville?

I'm pretty easily entertained. I like meeting new people, conversing with strangers, wine, music, eating out, dancing... So if anyone wants to show me a good time on Oct. 2-4 let me know!

Not sure about the cheapest way to get from the airport into town. We do have Uber now so that may be your best bet. Mass transit options are terrible here. As for Fri/Sat nights I'd definitely check out Lowe Mill and or Campus 805. Both usually have some sort of live events going on (music, comedy, etc). Lowe Mill is just cool to walk around and has lots to see during open hours. It's mostly a BYOB place, but there's a great coffee shop that also offers beer and mead. Campus 805 houses 2 of our local breweries (and I think 2 more are basically across the street) and a bar. One of the breweries has a good restaurant (and a cool little speakeasy and pinball arcade), the other is attached to an excellent pizza place. All of the above are good places to take in local and meet people.
