G'day Everyone. Our family migrated from Australia to beautiful Bulgaria 4 years ago. We bought two very old, neglected campgrounds at the Aleksander Stamboliyski Dam, with bungalows and other buildings that we are slowly renovating. We have areas where you can park your van. And maybe even able to offer you access to a shower and toilet, if we don’t have Volunteers staying in all the bungalows. We are 6kms from Mladen that has a small village store and 19kms from Sevlievo, where there are supermarkets etc. Swimming, fishing, kayaking etc is permitted at the dam and there is forest all around. Great place to relax and enjoy nature for a couple of days. Summer is best but it is beautiful in all seasons. Road from Mladen to our place does get snow on it a few times in winter. Please note, we can only host non-smokers because of health issues. And we are not setup to “host” pets. Sorry if this stops you from visiting us.
