Coming to Kona on 26th, sleeping at the trailhead, hiking to summit on Saturday, sleep at the summit cabin and return on Saturday. Need a good pair of boots, microspike, hiking poles, construction tapes, 6 liters of water, food , headlamp and good attitude. Need to get permit as well.
