Welcome to Coron, Palawan! Come hang out at my go-to spot for sunset drinks, swim and appetizers: the rooftop bar at Funny Lion, located 1.5 km west of Coron town center. It's just a 5-minute (₱30) tricycle ride or a 25-minute walk from Bam Bar. I like to go there at least once a week or whenever there’s a Couchsurfer in town. Happy Hour (Buy 1, Get 1 on cocktails) runs from 4–7 PM nightly, so aim to arrive early to make the most of the spectacular sunset views at 6 PM. Beers are as cheap as ₱90–120, while cocktails come out to ₱190 with the BOGO deal. Non-alcoholic beverages are ₱100–170, and fruit shakes are ₱250. Bring your swimsuit and towel—there’s a free jacuzzi! Afterwards, we often head back into town for dinner.
