Leipzig Couch Crash

There will be a Couch Crash in Leipzig, Germany this July! We're looking forward to fun, activities, culture and welcoming all people from all over the world to show them the most diverse (and beautiful!) city of Germany! To sweep through the organization with ease, we kindly ask you to register here for participation: https://forms.gle/BRQC6nQjSWVQTBzW9 After your registration, you'll receive a confirmation email from us, to which you can answer and let us know in case of any questions regarding the registration. Canoing and final party (see below) have extra costs and limited space, check the info in the registration form. Here's our terrific program: Thur 18th: Pre-meeting in "Südvorstadt" (pup area), time & place tba Fri 19th: Picnic in Clara-Zetkin Park near Music Pavillon and "Sachsenbrücke" chillout area. Later evening pubcrawl in the West ("Plagwitz") 4 pm: Meeting in the Park, byo food/drinks, exact location tba 8 pm: Pubcrawl in Karl-Heine-Straße. We'll walk there together. There will be opportunities to eat/drink. Pubs tba. Open end. Sat 20th: Explore the city, fun & activity. Party @ night. 10.30 am: Donation-based guided city walk. Meeting point: Burgerking in front of old city hall. 12 noon: Lunch break in city center, many options tba 14:00 pm: Canoeing Leipzig's gorgeous canals. 2.5h tour incl. break. Starting point: "Stadthafen". 8 pm: Final Party in "Radtanke" in the East, with DJs (Italo/80s/Electro/Mix). End: 2 am. Later options tba. Sun 21st: Chill out with view, lake and sunset till 12: Breakfast, place tba 12 pm: Visiting "Völkerschlachtdenkmal" (monument to the battle of the nations). If you climb up, you'll get a 90m view over the city. Meeting in front of the museum shop. 2 pm: Heading towards the Cospudener lake & sandy beach (with bus/bikes). Optional stop at Caracan (open air location in the woods with latin food & music) 10 pm: Bye bye with sunset at the "Fockeberg" (little hill in the city) The program might be subject to changes. In case of bad weather, we'll come up with rain alternatives for the outdoor events. Couchsurfing is an inclusive community built on trust, diversity, and connection. Since Leipzig carries the same values we want to create an event thats also safe for everyone! Please note: This is NOT a meeting place for any kind of unreciprocated soliciting! Be kind & respectful towards each other. Absolutely NO RACISM or SEXISM or any other kind of -ism just like any kind of intrusive behavior is tolerated here! If you have a tendency to make „jokes“ that are aiming at LGBTQAI+, people with special needs, minorities or as women identifying people, please stay at home. This is meant to be a safe crash for everyone.
