The Repair Café Bitburg is a volunteer-led initiative organized by the local Red Cross (DRK). It provides a space where you can bring broken household items to be repaired for free with the help of expert volunteers.  The location here is distinguished by its vibrant, international volunteer team, which has grown significantly since its opening in 2022. This diversity is a core part of its mission to foster integration and community in the Eifel region. The experts come from a wide range of backgrounds, including Germany, Belgium, Syria, Egypt, Ukraine and the USA. Because of the team's diverse origins, the café can offer support in multiple languages, making it a welcoming "encounter center" for people of all backgrounds. At the Repair Café, you can enjoy free coffee. This service is a central part of the event's atmosphere, turning the repair shop into a social "encounter center."
