Relocated to Karlsruhe to further study (till Feb 2026) Hi, I'm Huey, and I believe in exploring the world with purpose. Whether I'm traveling or learning about humanitarian initiatives, I'm always seeking to connect with people who share a passion for positive change. Feel free to reach out, but apologies in advance if I can't host you on short notice!
I am not a journalist or part of the media. I am not a diplomat or politician. I am just a guy who wanted to see the world with my own eyes.
Few years ago in a meetup event in Singapore which I'm a regular, someone shared with me the concept of CS. I was doubtful initially, but gave it a try anyways few months later in my trip to Vienna, turned out to be the most memorable experience of my trip. This is why I'm here today, and even when I'm not traveling I'd offer to show people around to help make their trip memorable. Born and raised in Malaysia, lived in California for a few years, and have been in Singapore so comfortable that I've become a citizen here. I think I'm chatty, curious and friendly. Love exchanging stories and tips with fellow travelers. Often times I get inspired by their experiences and picked up new hobbies. I once joined someone I met from my scuba diving course for rock climbing, and now it has became one of my hobbies. The most memorable parts of my travels have always been the people I've met along the way. From the stranger I chatted with at Hanoi airport while waiting for the bus who became my drinking buddy for the next few days, local friend I've met on a meetup that showed me around Hanoi, to the fellow traveler friend from my hostel where we checked out the Budapest thermal baths together, all these experiences formed the highlights of my trips. I'm easy going and flexible, and willing to work around your schedule. Would gladly show you around Singapore in return when you visit :)

CURRENT MISSION Filling up my Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/aeymanazizi/) with pictures from all over the world. ABOUT ME Im a Medical Student from Malaysia. Currently studying in Egypt.
CURRENT MISSION The world is my oyster. After a 2 year hiatus, I'm back to travelling the world and knowing more people. I currently work in the public sector, empowering and channeling initiatives to increase adoption of Data & AI practices. PHILOSOPHY I vouch by my ethics, principles & philosophy. Here's some of them (main ones): "You Only Live Once. (YOLO)" "Reach for the stars, be all that you are" "Change is the only constant" "Be the change that you want to see in this world" - Mahatma Gandhi "The best is yet to come" "Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible" - Frank Zappa "Beyond the fiction of reality, there is the reality of the fiction" - Slavoj Žižek "May your choices reflect your hopes, not fears" - Nelson Mandela
Born and raised in a small town called Sungai Petani, in the state of Kedah, Malaysia. My hometown is also close to Penang, about a 35-minute drive. I definitely recommend anyone to visit Penang for its rich and diverse food scene! I lived in the Klang Valley (the Kuala Lumpur area) for five years during my studies and for a little over a year while working, before moving to Singapore for my current job. I chose to live in Johor Bahru (JB), the southern gateway to Malaysia and commute to Singapore daily for work. My INTERESTS: I am open to new experiences. I love outdoor activities like hiking, nature walks, cycling; café hunting, cooking, learning about new cultures and mobile photography. I can host in JB, Malaysia if I'm available and not too busy. If you are coming over on weekdays, I will probably spend less time with you due to work and commuting. 🌈 More stories at 🅘🅝🅢🅣🅐: @harry_002 🏳️🌈 https://www.instagram.com/harry_002?igsh=MTVxMzFhbmhnbjJrcA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr
Hi, Im Kai! I'm Singaporean chinese and I was born in China! I'm keen to study and live in Japan permanently, thus I'm looking to do solo backpacking trips there to make native friends.
I have reached the point in my life where I realise that I intend to be a rooted cosmopolitan: taking Singapore as home and being open to the world, whether it is with meeting guests from abroad in Singapore, or travelling overseas. [In Singapore, I'm unable to host as I have a squeezy living situation at home with my family.] I would like to meet new friends from around the world and just exchange with one another so that we can expand our experiences and networks together in the time we share (also while meeting people in Singapore, paying forward the amazing hospitality I received in South Africa, Belgium, Denmark, Detroit and Istanbul!) I'd say I can be the type of friend you meet once every six months just to talk about life and why we are here, who are we, where are we going. I'm a b-boy (breakdancer -- happy to share some basic moves), I've spent time dabbling in theatre, performing arts. I studied English and World Literature for my undergraduate and masters, more recently finishing a PhD in literature education 🤗. You can say I'm generally more inclined to the arts, but not a total geek or connoisseur either. I’m also a wrestling fan of sorts, watch a little too much YouTube sometimes trying to understand more about the human psyche. I do enjoy visiting places that are off the beaten track and to me, even a walk through ordinary looking places with a conversation is a total event in itself. A bit of urban exploration is always fun. Try and teach me some words of your most familiar languages. I don't speak many languages, but I somehow can pick up a few words across languages quite easily, so I’d appreciate a speaking challenge! Let's talk about anything from the silliness to the suffering of life. Let's talk about social realities and where we find ourselves in the world. Let's talk about dreams yet to be fulfilled and stories worth preserving.
CURRENT MISSION Nothing to be really classified as 'mission'. Just enjoying the fruits of my labour! By the way, I usually respond to every message, but last-minute request may not get a prompt answer. ABOUT ME Would usually like to take the view that people are good at heart until proven otherwise. Realistic, practical and sensible. Young-at heart, younger in looks. Integrity and honesty mean a lot to me. PHILOSOPHY Life should never be meant for 'busting and fighting' and accumulating of wealth and power and promoting one's religious ideologies. If only John Lennon's "Imagine" could be a reality, how peaceful the world would be!! Would like to believe all the talks about Heaven and Hell and God, but have not been convinced of their existence yet. You can say I'm a atheist or a free-thinker or a non-believer. What I believe is that Life should be meant to be lived unselfishly, honestly, happily and peacefully.
Traveling so not in Singapore for below dates: 6 to 23 Aug 2026 3 to 8 Nov 2026 Pls call me Fang Wei :) ✍️ Tips on writing a CS request: - Mention the host's name (if you are not sure, read the references to know what other people call the host) - Share what you find interesting about the host's profile (e.g. pet, hobby, job) - Specify why you want to stay with the host (e.g. get to know a local) - Introduce yourself (why you are visiting, what you want to do during your stay etc) 🏡 Hostels in Singapore if you can't find a host (I just searched online and am not related to them): www.betelbox.com www.dreamlodge.sg 🚎 Free Singapore tours for transiting passengers: https://www.changiairport.com/en/experience/tours/free-singapore-tour.html 🏖 Suggestions on activities in Singapore: https://thesmartlocal.com/read/things-to-do-singapore/ - Visit UNESCO heritage site Botanic Garden for free - Go to the rooftop of Esplanade Mall for a free scenic view of the central business district - Learn about inclusion and get souvenirs made by the disabled at https://enablingvillage.sg/ - Eat good and cheap food at ABC Market or Whampoa Food Centre - Rent a bicycle in East Coast Park - See a beautiful granite rock right next to a MRT station in a residential area https://www.nparks.gov.sg/gardens-parks-and-nature/parks-and-nature-reserves/bukit-batok-town-park MISSION 😇 Accept risks and uncertainty in life. ME 📒 Read something that I have written: http://www.wesaidgotravel.com/my-incredible-india Or hear it from these guys: ❓️CSers who met her: Beware! Whether you are the one who's visiting her country or she's the one visiting your country, she's THE ONE with more questions. 🐌 CSers who hosted her: If there is a competition for eating the slowest, sleeping the most, writing the longest email or all 3-in-1, sign her up for it! 💡Her NUS Sociology professor of crime: I'm her idol! 👨👩👧👦 Her parents: I'm her idol too but sometimes I need reminders when travel seems to be everything on her mind and that means leaving my side and making me worried! 👯♀️ Her friends: She's like an ice cube that you can see through. Whatever emotions she's feeling, she wears it on her face. 🤗 Don't believe? Meet me and find out! :p PHILOSOPHY Treat others the way they want to be treated. What goes around comes around. There is a price to pay for what I do and more importantly, what I don't do. Assumptions and denials are the termites of relationships. If I can make someone happy, why not? I'll probably end up making myself happy too! :)
I am a student who studying in United, Kingdom in 2015. I was born in a beautiful Asia country, called MALAYSIA. I would like to travel and learn others culture as many as I could if I am given the opportunity. So that I could share with my friends from all around the world about the places that I have visited. I am discipline , trustworthy, caring and natural lover. No smoking & no drug.
