Hi! I’m Marcelo, a musician, educator, traveler, and researcher based in Brighton & Hove, UK. I’ve spent more than 20 years performing as a professional saxophonist, playing at festivals, weddings, cruise ships, private events, and on the streets of cities around the world. Music has taken me across many cintinents allowing me to meet incredible people, experience different cultures, and turn many of those experiences into creative and academic projects. I enjoy meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, nature, local food, languages, and discovering places beyond the usual tourist routes. I’m currently starting a PhD focused on music and mobility, and I love connecting with open-minded people who are curious about the world. CURRENT MISSION making Brighton a home filled with great people ABOUT ME I love music, film, and travelling. I'm outgoing, and I love making people laugh. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I'm a hopeless romantic. I'm afraid of the dark sometimes. Going up stairs at night in the dark alone freaks me out. I'm afraid of heights and deep water, but like to confront them as much as possible. I love animals, proud owner of a beautiful little pooch partnered with a beautiful lunatic in a happy relationship of 6 years. PHILOSOPHY if you're good, good things will happen. or so you can hope. life can be random sometimes, but it's always a gift. Travelling is like a drug. A strange, unpredictable trip with wild extremes of experience. But it's always good, because it's always different. A bad experience always makes a great story. I like being pushed to do stuff that scares but excites me. everyone has to die sometime, but they should do it with the least of regrets.

I am not very keen on excessive drinking but I like dancing. I am mostly stuck in Brighton at the moment completing my doctorate in clinical psychology.
